After defeated by Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage on 19 December 2009, Manchester United finally got his reverenge yesterday at Old Trafford with the same score 3-0. Wayne Rooney took his goal twice to take Manchester United back to the top of Barclays Premier League.
Rooney, who saw a long-range strike saved in the opening 45 minutes, fired The Red Devil to a one-goal lead after just 30 seconds of the second half. And the second goal came on six minutes before full time after superb approach work from Dimitar Berbatov.
Bulgarian striker, Dimitar Berbatov finally located the target himself, from Park's cross, to complete a scoreline more in keeping with the one-sided nature of proceedings.
Now, Manchester United lead on the top of Barclay Premier League. But they have to wary because Chelsea and Arsenal still have big chances to win Premier League Champion title.
