Liverpool Return to Their Perfomance


Liverpool returned to their performance after win over Portsmouth 4-1 at Anfield Stadium.

Throughout the first half, Liverpool continued to press the defense of Avram Grant's team. But the goal occurred in the 26th  minute from the Spanish national team striker, Fernando Torres. Five minutes later after these goals, Portsmouth have conceded two goals back through Ryan Babel in the 28th  minute and Aquilani in 32nd minute.
the Italian's first goal for the club in his fifth Premier League start since joining from Roma for 17million pounds last August.


Despite winning 3-0 in the first half, Liverpool still pressing Portsmouth in the second half. And the result, Portsmouth goalkeeper, Ashdown have conceded another goal by Fernando Torres in 77thminute.

Portsmouth pulled back a goal from Liverpool in 88th  minute through their defender from Algeria, Nadir Belhadj.

The final result 4-1 make Liverpool moved up one rank in the Premier League table to fifth with 51 points. And for Portsmouth, this defeat makes them more difficult to get out of the relegation zone.
