Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United.. Who will be the wineer? (part II)

In the remaining six games, Chelsea have to face one of the toughest rivals, Manchester United that still on the top of  Barclays English Premier League table with 72 points. Playing at Old Trafford, the club owned by Russian businessmen, Roman Abrahamovic must capitalize on two big advantages. The first one is the absence of Wayne Rooney, an attacker with the most goals in United's had ankle injury  after defeated against FC Hollywood at the Allianz Arena. The second advantage is the United players were in not fit condition after played in the European Champion League match a few days ago. Unfortunately, Chelsea's record at Old Trafford was not good. From 67 times to play at Old Trafford, the Blues won only 18 times, the series 22 times and lost 27 times. Last season, they must accepted defeat 3-0 after Nemanja Vidic, Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov scored each one goal.

The next opponent is Bolton Wanderers. Chelsea has a good record, especially when they played against Bolton at Stamford Bridge. Moreover, the Blues are now only focused on the Premier League and FA Cup. However Bolton can still make it difficult for Carlo Ancelotti’s squad because they are motivated to avoid relegation. Chelsea have won 22 times a game, the series 13 times and lost 11 times in 46 meetings with Bolton at Stamford Bridge. Last season they beat Bolton with big score, 4-0.

Chelsea also then have to face London rivals with The Lily Whites. This is certainly not an easy thing, The match will play at White Hart Lane and they are very motivated to win because their target to get one last ticket of the European Champion League zone next season. Chelsea were obliged to alert because last season they lost at the White Hart Lane after Luka Modric managed 1-0 score against Petr Cech.

Stoke City is one of the opponents the Blues are quite easy, especially those playing at Stamford Bridge. From four last game, Chelsea always got three points.

The Reds are opponents who predicted Chelsea would make it difficult road to become Premier League champions this season. Because Liverpool will be played at Anfield Stadium and will fight 100% to get three points so that the target entered European Champion League next season can be achieved. Although this season, Liverpool appear disappointing but they remain hard to beat especially Fernando Torres is in best condition and last season he scored two goals.

Chelsea’s final opponents in this season is Wigan Atletic. Chelsea were obliged to be careful dealing with this club since the last meeting, they managed to won 3-1 at The Stadium DW. Fortunely, the match will be played at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea predicted will reach three points.

So with six games remaining, Can Chelsea win the Premier League championship title this season? They remain a strong candidate because they can be more focus after losing from the European Champions League title race this season.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United .. Who will be the winner? (Part I)

There are still eight meetings remaining in Barclays Premier League. Manchester United still leads in the top of premier league table with 66 points. While Chelsea are in second place with 64 points but still have one game that has not been played. Arsenal is in third place with 64 points, the same points with Chelsea.

 
This makes the title race of English Premier League Championship became increasingly hot. But who will be the winner?

Manchester United are this winner of Carling cup in this season have to deal with Liverpool, Bolton Wanderers, Chelsea, Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City, Tottenham, Sunderland and Stoke City.

Statistical, Red Devils have a tough opponent like Liverpool, where the Reds for the last three meetings they always win and last season the Reds win 4-1 over United. While against Bolton, United predicted to achieve full points. But the next opponent, Chelsea  which is their toughest challengers. Although the game will play at Old Trafford but four days before it, the Red Devils have to face Bayern Munich in European Champions League.

Against Blackburn, Sir Alex Ferguson team is also predicted to achieve full points. But after that, they must meet with rivals Manchester City at the City of Manchester. This will be inconvenient for United because the team trained by Roberto Mancini ever gave heavy resistance at Old Trafford and beat Chelsea. Since 2006, United had only win once against The Citizens at City of Manchester.

Although Tottenham Hotspurs perform well this season but the last five meeting with The Red Devils, The Lily Whites always came home with no points.

United next opponent was The Black Cats. Although the need to play at The Stadium of Light, but some last meeting Manchester United are still favored to get the full points.

Barclays Premier League last week, Manchester United will be against Stoke City. United in the last three games are always got three points so the team coached by Tony Pullis predicted going home without points.

Manchester United even have to face opponents hard, but the team coached by Sir Alex Ferguson has a world-class talented player who is shining in this season, Wayne Rooney. He already produced 25 goals in English Premier League and become top scorer till this week. And the return of two world-class defender, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic from their injury will help the United to defend title this season. So may United retain title in the Barclays Premier League Championship this season?

The Forgotten Prince of Bernabeu

Does anyone know who is the prince in the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium? I think, The man is Raul Gonzalez.

Now, the Spanish player is 32 years old and in this season, he rarely played. Since the arrival of talented players who purchased by Florentino Perez to build Los Galacticos II. The man with 180 cm height was once a key player of El Real. Even he called the prince of the Bernabeu because of the talent, loyalty and the nature of leadership in the field. 

An attacker who was born in Madrid 32 years ago it has carved many achievements with Real Madrid. He has contributed to the El Real in winning 3 European Champions League title in 1998, 2000 and 2002. And the Spain Primera Division champions in 1995, 1997, 2001 and 2003.

Although competition in Madrid is very tight, but his hard work and talent makes him always selected in the squad of El Real. In fact he became a club captain after Fernando Hierro retired. 

He ever played with other world class strikers like Ronaldo, Ruud van Nistelrooy. But the most dangerous is when he played with Fernando Morientes. In fact he had received the title of El Pichichi or league topscorer in Spain Primera Division.

The most proud personal Achievement of players with number 7 is to become a palyer who scored more than 50 goals in the Champions League. 

But now he must sit on the bench due to El Real competition from other attackers like Gonzalo Higuain and Karim Benzema.

In Spanish national team, he also had to lose the place after the coaches prefer choose David Villa and Fernando Torres as first team striker than to choose him.

Liverpool Return to Their Perfomance

Liverpool returned to their performance after win over Portsmouth 4-1 at Anfield Stadium.

Throughout the first half, Liverpool continued to press the defense of Avram Grant's team. But the goal occurred in the 26^th  minute from the Spanish national team striker, Fernando Torres. Five minutes later after these goals, Portsmouth have conceded two goals back through Ryan Babel in the 28^th  minute and Aquilani in 32^nd minute. the Italian's first goal for the club in his fifth Premier League start since joining from Roma for 17million pounds last August.

Despite winning 3-0 in the first half, Liverpool still pressing Portsmouth in the second half. And the result, Portsmouth goalkeeper, Ashdown have conceded another goal by Fernando Torres in 77^thminute.

Portsmouth pulled back a goal from Liverpool in 88^th  minute through their defender from Algeria, Nadir Belhadj.

The final result 4-1 make Liverpool moved up one rank in the Premier League table to fifth with 51 points. And for Portsmouth, this defeat makes them more difficult to get out of the relegation zone.

David Beckham Will Miss the World Cup

The 34-years old England midfielder, David Beckham will miss the World Cup after getting a ruptured Achilles tendon.

He got his injury when he played against Chievo on Sunday. AC Milan finally won that match after Seedorf scored 1-0 on 90^th minute.

Former Manchester United midfielder will be operated on Mehilaeinen hospital in Turku, Finland on Monday afternoon.He will be out about five or six month to recover and this injury will broke his heart because he always has motivation and worked hard to be ready for the World Cup match. Victoria’s husband even have to play in two teams and two different leagues of LA Galaxy and AC Milan to maintain his performance. But now everything has to end because of his injury.

This injury must have a very detrimental to AC Milan because they're trying to pursue a Serie A championship.

Although the English national team has a lot of quality midfielders, but the figure of Beckham is still needed to add the spirit and experience in playing.

David Beckham made his first appearance for the Three Lions on 1 September 1996, in a World Cup qualifying match against Moldova. So far, ex-captain of England national team has played as many as 115 games and has scored 17 goals for The Three Lions.

Now we can only pray and wait to see if the injury can heal faster so that he can be a part of the England national team, or the World Cup 2010 will be felt less luxury without the phenomenon itself.

Duo Argentinean Big Star Scored Hat Trick

Two big stars of Argentina scored a hat trick in the Spanish Primera League. The first was Lionel Messi. Barcelona’s player was selected to be the world's best player of 2009 succeeded in scoring a hat trick against Valencia.

In the first half, Barcelona looked hard to develop their game. Although successfully created several chances, former champions of La Liga last season have not been able to produce a goal. Even Valencia could provide resistance by producing some dangerous counterattacks.

But in the second half, Barcelona changed their game plan after replace Bojan with Thierry Henry. The French striker made Barcelona attacks become more dangerous and effective. In the end Lionel Messi finally scored a goal in 56^th minute.

Barcelona eventually destroyed Valencia at Nou Camp after Maduro got a red card. Messi added two goal in 81^st and 83^rd minute to made the score ended 3-0. Now, Barcelona are ranked second in the Spanish Primera League.

Another Argentine star who scored a hat trick in this week is Gonzalo Higuain. El Real’s young talented players managed to score 3 goals when Madrid against Real Valladolid. Madrid opened the goal in the first half through a Cristiano Ronaldo’s free kick in 28^th minute. Then followed by Gonzalo Higuain in the 44^th minute.

The second round of Madrid continued their pressure and Higuain scored their second goal at 52^nd minute. Higuain finally scored a hat trick after scoring again on 65^th minute. Valladolid scored one goal after Real Madrid’s defender, Raul Albiol did scored own goal in 58^th minute.

The victory of Real Madrid over Real Valladolid 4-1 made them on the top position of La Liga Primera with the same points with Barcelona
